Internships available with the Our Children, Our Future Campaign

The Our Children, Our Future Campaign is accepting applications for summer and fall internship and volunteer opportunities.

Opportunities are available in the following areas:

  • Policy
  • Organizing
  • Media and Communications

ResearchInterns and volunteers must commit at least 10 hours/week (or more), for at least 2 months.

How to Apply
To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to ssmith@wvhealthykids.org with the word “INTERNSHIP” in the subject heading. Your cover letter must include ALL of the following: your daytime phone number, the number of hours you are available, the number of weeks you are available, the dates you are available, the specific areas you are interested in and why (choosing from among policy, organizing, and/or media), any relevant experience you have, and most important: why you are personally interested in fighting child poverty. Cover letters that do not answer these questions will not be considered.
