The Times West Virginian, the seven-time West Virginia Press Association Newspaper of the Year in Fairmont, W.Va., has an immediate opening for a full-time multi-media journalist. This person will be responsible for covering meetings, breaking news and general assignments.
The candidate should have strong writing and photography skills, and be adept at posting through social media and simple updates to a website. Knowing how to shoot and edit video is a major plus.
The candidate should have a journalism background with a degree in journalism or a related field. Experience is preferred.
Benefits include paid vacation, health and dental insurance and 401(k). Salary is based on experience.
Candidates should live in North Central West Virginia or be willing to relocate.
