A team of students, known as the ELF Enhancement Fund, has kicked off a community-wide “Stuff the Bus” Supply Drive as a part of their public relations capstone. The students are working with the Morgantown Early Learning Facility (ELF), a local parent-owned, nonprofit educational program for children ages 2-12.
The drop-off for the Stuff the Bus Supply Drive will take place on Saturday, April 26 from 1-3 p.m. in the Hall of Traditions at the WVU Basketball Practice Facility. The WVU Men’s Basketball team will be on hand to accept supplies, pose for photos and sign autographs. The first 50 people who donate at least three supplies will receive a poster that is autographed by the WVU Men’s Basketball team.
ELF is seeking arts and crafts supplies, paper, child scissors, tissues, hand sanitizer, writing utensils and more.
Faculty and students who would like to donate but are unable to make it to the drop-off event may place items in the box located in the lobby of Martin Hall. Donation boxes are also located in Woodburn Hall, Life Sciences Building, Brooks Hall, Allen Hall, the Coliseum, and the SGA and Mountaineer Maniacs offices. Fliers with a detailed list of needed supplies are posted on the donation boxes.
