Mon County Habitat for Humanity seeks Web Design and Social Media Developer intern

The Web Design and Social Media Developer will redesign organization’s website to ensure it is clean, modern, and user friendly. Update and develop website content including blogging, creating multimedia content, and professional images. Create, develop and manage social media content focused on Habitat brand. Monitor social media channels to find relevant conversations. Create and update outreach and marketing materials. This position is unpaid unless candidate qualifies for a full-time summer work-study position.

Qualifications:
Candidate must be experienced with website design. Proficient using Wordpress with understanding of HTML desired. Strong knowledge of social media strategies, services, and tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, blogs, website). Experience creating multimedia packages including writing, photo, video, and audio. Excellent communication and writing skills is a must. Experience creating outreach and marketing materials (newsletters, brochures) preferred. Must have access to all needed editing software and equipment (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, video editing software, camera or phone that takes quality video/photos, etc).
