Graduate student stresses the importance of diversity mentoring in national PR magazine

Rashidah McCoy is a second-year graduate student at the WVU Reed College of Media. Her article, “The importance of mentoring millennial minority students,” recently appeared in Progressions, an online publication for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

The article stresses the importance of mentoring in PR agencies to encourage diversity in the workplace.

McCoy is a native of Pittsburgh and the public relations director for the WVU PRSSA chapter.
