Charleston Daily Mail City Editor Lauren McGill will conduct in-person interviews in Martin Hall Monday, Feb. 16, for a summer internship.
The intern will work as a general assignment reporter in the Daily Mail’s dynamic, digital-first newsroom. They offer pay of $350 a week for 10-12 weeks following the spring semester. The winning candidate also receives a Gianodis scholarship of $1,000 for the 2015-16 academic year.
The Daily Mail is a great place to learn as you produce some top-notch clips and hone a wide variety of digital skills. Previous interns have been asked to do a variety of resume-building assignments, from writing breaking news on the crime beat to producing feature stories and accompanying videos.
