Mountaineer TV informational session-Aug. 24!

If you are interested in a career in sports broadcasting, you have an immediate opportunity to work with Mountaineer TV, the WVU Athletic Department’s video production team. Mountaineer TV produces live coverage of WVU sports. This includes live game-day production for the video board as well as live streaming for a global audience on the Web.

These are paid positions with flexible hours.

Beyond that, they provide you with exactly the kind of experience that employers will expect of you.

Former Mountaineer TV students have gone on to work for ESPN, The Big 12, and a variety of regional/local sports radio and television outlets.

Please attend our informational session on Monday, August 24th from 6:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. in the Media Innovation Lab on the 2nd floor of Martin Hall.

You’ll hear from ESPN’s Andrea Sauer as well as sports anchor Anjelica Trinone, both of whom worked for Mountaineer TV. You’ll also hear from several current members of the crew and have the chance to ask questions of Chris Ostien, senior producer for athletic video.

Please RSVP to eric.minor@mail.wvu.edu if you plan to attend!
