WVU is now accepting nominations for the Order of Vandalia

West Virginia University is now accepting nominations for the University’s highest service honor – the Order of Vandalia.

This award is given each year to a person who has provided outstanding or distinguished service to the University over many years. It will be presented during WVU’s Alumni Weekend, scheduled for June 4, 2016.

Nominees for the Order of Vandalia must be living and should have a strong record of providing service to the University as a layperson or as a member of the faculty or staff. WVU faculty and staff members are not eligible for induction until the year after their retirement, and no one currently serving on the WVU Board of Governors, the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission or in a political office will be inducted. Nominees should not be told they are being nominated.
