Can’t Register for a Course??
Pre-Registration starts March 29th and continues through April 11th. If you have issues registering for a College of Media course on your pre-registration date and need a permit please go here:

Please be patient, permits are processed in the order that they are received.
· If you have issues registering for a course outside of the College of Media you must contact the individual departments for permits to take those courses.
· If you are taking 12 hours or less and have issues registering for an online course for Fall 2016, you must contact Extended Learning – elearn@mail.wvu.edu or 304-293-2834 for approval to enroll.
· If you are taking more than 12 hours and need to register for an online course for Fall 2016, you should request to be on the wait list for that course. Please contact Aaron Hawley Aaron.Hawley@mail.wvu.edu.
Summer and Fall 2016 Pre-Registration Dates (when you can add classes):
- March 29: Professional, Graduate, Honors-SR, and Exceptions, Law-L3
- March 30: Honors-JR, Law-L2
- March 31: Honors-SO, Law-L1
- April 1: Honors-FR
- April 4: Seniors (89+ hours)
- April 6: Juniors (59-88 hours)
- April 8: Sophomores (29-58 hours)
- April 11: Freshmen (0-28 hours)
