Students in Professor Harmon’s STCM 459 course will gain real-world experience by serving as an “agency” for a global health care client located in Brazil. They will collaborate with the global agency powerhouse Porter Novelli. This four credit hour class will meet weekly in Morgantown throughout the spring semester and travel to Porto Alegre and Gramada, Brazil during Spring Break.

Mountaineer Gameday launched Saturday, covering the first Mountaineer football game of the season. The show will air every Saturday until the final regular-season game on November 29. WVU Reed College of Media has partnered with the production, to allow students to work in support roles alongside the Gameday crew.
The Pet Matchmaker’s mission is to foster healthy, happy relationships between people and their rescue pets. The service is managed by a group of dedicated animal advocates, founded by Elaine Hendrix.

Associate Professor Sammy Lee was invited to speak at AdStar 2014 in August. AdStar is a premier advertising festival in Asia (http://www.adstars.org/), similar to CLIO in the US. He presented to about 300 people and also moderated a panel discussion at the event, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy of the Republic of Korea.
