Intern with the Charleston Daily Mail

Charleston Daily Mail City Editor Lauren McGill will conduct in-person interviews in Martin Hall Monday, Feb. 16, for a summer internship.

The intern will work as a general assignment reporter in the Daily Mail’s dynamic, digital-first newsroom. They offer pay of $350 a week for 10-12 weeks following the spring semester. The winning candidate also receives a Gianodis scholarship of $1,000 for the 2015-16 academic year.

This internship, a part-time, non-benefits eligible position, is a PAID POSITION for a junior- or senior- level student where the intern will gain valuable experience in public relations and communications while learning to produce information to promote the School of Pharmacy. This position reports to the School’s Director of Public Relations and Alumni Affairs. IMC China Study Abroad

The WVU Reed College of Media is sponsoring an IMC study abroad trip to China from May 20-June18. Students will stay in Guangzhou, China, and travel to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. This is a three credit course and includes an internship in China.
